About Jennifer
Jennifer Pierce is a massage therapist licensed in the State of Colorado. Her holistic, intuitive, and nurturing touch invites your body to use its innate healing capacity to release patterns of stress, tension, and pain.
She graduated from the Berkana Institute of Message Therapy with honors, where she studied Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, Thai massage, Ashiatsu, trigger point therapy, cupping, and integrative massage. She is also a biomechanical craniosacral therapist having completed multiple studies with Ascentia Fox and with the Upledger Institute.
Jennifer’s other passions include Andean energy work, tai chi, yoga, Carnatic vocals, and Vedic astrology. In retrospect, all of these were preparatory work for her career in bodywork and continue to inform the quality of her touch.
About Mahā Samudra
Samudra is a Sanskrit word meaning “gathering of waters”. Throughout cultures and times, water is known to be a bringer of life and receiver of worries and pains.
Mahā Samudra Massage seeks to emulate water by offering bodywork that helps you feel supported, calm, and grounded in your body so that you can release into the parasympathetic nervous system, allowing the ancient healing capacity of your own body to emerge from the depths and wash over your tensions, pains, stresses, dissociations, and anxieties.
